We have many knowledgeable and experienced walk leaders who play a vital role ensuring we have a wide variety of walks from which to choose.
New Leaders
We are always looking for new leaders, and of course new walk locations. Assistance and help by some of our more experienced leaders is always available. See our Notice Board for a list of 'walk buddies' who are more than happy to recce a walk with you. We also have a box of walks, maps and leaflets to give ideas and help on what is available. For all leaders
All our leaders need to be Ramblers' members and registered as Walk Leaders for every Group they lead. A simple risk assessment is required for each walk, which can easily be completed on the walk recce. The Ramblers have produced a couple of documents & pages to help walk leaders. See below.
